Team Valley Retail World welcomes The Works to the Retail Park

Retail World at Team Valley, which extends to almost 400,000sq.ft. welcomes The Works as a new tenant at the retail park, who open their doors today.

The Works will be a fantastic addition to Retail World at Team Valley, especially this side of Christmas. Stocking a wide range of affordable books and gifts for all the family. The store will open its doors to shoppers on Thursday 17th November 2022.

The Works is the UK’s leading family-friendly value retailer of gifts, arts, crafts, toys, books and stationery. They operate 525 stores in the UK and Republic of Ireland, employing 3,800 employees with an ambition to inspire reading, learning, creativity and play.

A spokesperson for The Works said: “We are delighted to be opening a brand new store on the Retail World Retail Park in Gateshead today! Team Valley Retail World is a fantastic location that we have had our eyes on for some time, offering nearly 400,000 sq. ft. of retail and leisure space. The new store is located between Superdrug and ScS and is spread across 2,660 sq. ft. which will provide a fantastic trading space for our customers.

Customers visiting our Retail World store in Gateshead will be able to shop the products they love including Peppa Pig, Paw Patrol and brand new books by authors such as Richard Osman.
